Prostap3 and periods

At the moment I'm on my 3rd injection of Prostap3. So I'm in my 7 month and I'm so sick of bleeding....at first it was just light pink discharge continuously....this has progressed to 6 days heavy bleeding with clots.....then a break anywhere between a day to a week then bleeding and clots again....anyone going through anything similar. I'm due to see gynecologist on Monday and on waiting list for endo clinic. So fed up and exhausted.

hey lovely, so sorry you’re going through this. I’m on my 6th injection and I only just stopped bleeding, was also bleeding constantly heavy and clotty. I have adenomyosis and possible endo and am on the list for a hysterectomy. I really hope it stops for you soon

Thank you spoke to gyne and there booking me in for a hysterscopy and biopsy to see what's going on

Hi

I’m on second month of monthly injections. Since March I’ve only had 11 days of no bleeding. So tired and fed up. It’s up and down flooding through clothes or hardly anything not one thing. This is following 15 months of zoladex and going straight onto prostap. Awaiting go ahead for hysterectomy. Back to hospital next month for 2nd lot of biopsy to be done in two years. Hope things get better for you.
