Post op bleeding on decapeptyl

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all ok!

I am just over 8 weeks post op now (had my cysts drained but not removed yet and found out my bowel is stuck and waiting on a second op) I have been put on the decapeptyl injection until my second op and just had my 3rd one (26th Jan), this time was the 12 week dosage for the first time.

I have been spotting on and off for the last 2 weeks ish, but yesterday it started more heavier and also quite a bit of blood from my bowel when I went to the toilet. I felt like I was pre op, extremely bloated and camping/stabbing pain. Can anyone provide any advice? I’m not sure if it’s the new dosage causing some issues whilst it settles down but I wouldn’t have expected bleeding after 3 months of being on the injection and the bleeding when emptying my bowel has me a bit concerned.

I can’t get to speak with my doctor until Monday (typical) so any help you guys have would be great xx

Hey sorry to hear that you r going through this pain n bleeding

I don’t have experience with bowel surgery but I did have a major endo n myomectomy and adenomyomectomy and cystectomy all in one surgery and between Decapeptyl injections and had some bleeding after , for few days.

So I think it is kinda normal to have bleeding after an operation in that area but still pls check with your doctor hopefully nothing to be concerned abt.
