Could it be ovarian remenant syndrom? Had left ovary removed 3 years ago scan now say have cyst on left ovary, I don't have a left ovary!

3 years ago had left ovary removed due to endo.Had a scan in July showing cyst. Gyno said maybe not cyst have another scan. So wait for scan. Had another scan in December. Finally spoke to gyno who said its cyst on left ovary so I told him I don't have a left ovary. He then said well let's scan again in 6 months.

I feel very confused, what is the cyst on because its not an ovary? If I wait 6 months then it's been there at least a year. A Google search came up with ovarian remanent syndrom. So now I don't know who to ask about this

i have this , don’t even know why they removed the ovary as still have pain and problems , they thought mine could be cancer , I knew literally on my next period that something was wrong and it had not been dealt with properly.

I’m now awaiting surgery for endometriosis including bowel nodule so may have to have a resection .

Hope you get the answers , don’t give up and push .

General gynaecologist are crap for me Iv lost a ovary now .
