I posted a little while ago to ask if anyone receives PIP for endo because they turned me down and I was told by several of you that you have got PIP but be prepared to fight for it. (Thanks so much for your replies by the way). Anyway, I took your advice and fought back and only now, after over a year and starting the appeal tribunal process, have they agreed to award me PIP. They claimed that had come across 'new evidence'. Yeah right. I just wanted to tell you all not to be discouraged. If you suffer from it the way I do, press ahead. It's not right and it's not fair. We're entitled to it - take it.

So sorry the fight had to happen!! Congratulations 🎉
I got it too first application but a charity helped me with the forms.
That’s key, to get the right help because nobody tells you this. It’s such an ableist system and is set up to reluctantly give you what you are indeed entitled to!! The 2 assessments were traumatising and I already have Medical Trauma. One for one benefit and one for PIP. I sobbed my way through both of them.
It’s absolutely unfair and so damaging and outrageous that we are soooo unwell and have to find energy to fight!
I know - it's shocking, especially when you think that there are people out there who don't have anyone to help them, who don't have any support and might not be able to fight for what they should have. I cried in my assessment too (a lot) and the assessor put down that I seemed articulate and 'together', no mention of the several times I broke down. Despicable.
