Hi I'm just wondering if any of u girls have pip for long term health illness? Before I put claim in many times for my mental health and they declined and my mental health team done a note explaining I was entitled but I gave up in the end. But because of the endometriosis and lung term health now I should be entitled to it now. Has anyone else got this or had problems? Is it best to get a letter from gp? I also have bipolar and other mental health disorders and an unstable personality disorder. Any help and advice would be great plz and thanks for the support and help.

I have had a positive experience of PIP for endometriosis and adenomyosis. Get all the paper work you can, GP, consultants, prescription sheet, any alternative therapists that treat you and I also had testimony from neighbours and friends that help me out when things are bad. Take all that to Citizen's Advice and get it included in your application and you should be fine. Good Luck x

HiI claim PIP for endo and for mobility effected by endo. Have you spoke to someone from DWP and citizen advice, explained my condition.

It does depend how endo effects you and your life.

I'm unable to work, due to my mobility.

Do you hospital notes, any other therapy you are under going, letters from your counsellor?

Photo copy & Send everything you have, with your claim.

Be absolutely honest on how it impacts your life.

I know the process is disheartening, has you feel have to constantly prove yourself.

Give it another go.

I hope this helps.

I claim PIP and you can claim Universal Credit as well.

Jasmin24 is right, dont hold anything back be totally jonest with how it is affecting your life.

It is a really long and difficult process. I was declined and then took it to a judge for appeal. It took about 18months but it was worth it.

Message me if you need advice or have questions :)

I am going to do it soon. How much did it cost you to appeal please?

It doesn't cost anything to appeal. I didn't use any representation though so I don't know how that works. :)
