Hello,

Yesterday I was in the hospital again with severe pains that were so bad that the tramadol did not help with the pain. Of course, at the hospital, they found that there was nothing they could do. I went to the different hospital because at hospital in my town they told me not to come again.

There was a doctor who called the gynecology department, there the assistant said that I had obtained all the necessary information, that I was abnormal, that I went to hospitals with such pain. I never received the required information, and when I called to find out, I was always redirected to someone else or hung up. Everything she said was a lie!

The doctor said that when I was diagnosed (2018-2019), the waiting period for the procedure was already 2-3 years.

There was nothing left but to die in suffering.

HiSorry you’re going through this.

I’d request a copy of records so you can see what’s in there and then look at a complaint, get records first so nothing can be changed.

I have an on going complaint, well they think it’s over, but it’s not. I’ll be complaining to GMC and gynae society about a particular gynae.

Your GP should be referring you to the pain team, tell them you want it as urgent. There are other forms of painkillers they can try in the meantime. If it’s nerve pain they can try amitriptyline, pregabalin, gabapentin (I think), other types of painkillers are nefopam (non opiate) or other opiates such as patches, oxycodone and oramorph. Regular paracetamol can help these work better I’ve been told.

I hope you get something sorted and you have a good GP.

There is more they could have done at the hospital, a scan to check there was nothing else and intravenous pain relief to get it under control. I hate hospitals

Hi Nancin, so sorry you're going through this and sending lots of support your way. You may want to edit your post and remove the hospital names because we're not allowed to mention names of specific hospitals or consultants we've seen, it's a breach of the rules on here and i would hate for you to get in trouble 😘 all the best though love, please keep your chin up 😘 xxx

I've tried several times to get medical records and haven't received anything until today. Also, I never got a letter with the test results. I have all the information from the GP as far as it is possible.

I was also referred to the pain team, but they said that they could only help me if the endometriosis surgery did not help. I also have an appointment with a physiotherapist. I have already received amitriptyline, pregabalin, gabapentin from GP, we are constantly trying different drugs. Even CBD oil I am trying now.

I just signed up for a private gynecologist and if I succeed, I will also do the operation privately, the cost is around £ 7,000. Is there such a thing as a refund if the NHS is unable to do the procedure within the specified time frame?

I'm on pregabalin and butrans patches and still in agony 😔 unfortunately the longer ur on the medication the less effective they will be 🙁 I smoke cannabis for pain and use cbd oil, devil's claw is a better option instead of Ibuprofen as its natural. unfortunately all the drugs they had me on eventually killed my immune system and I got sepsis n encephalitis 🤬 I now weigh 42.5kg n can't work. I'm absolutely shocked that the pain clinic refused to help u! that's ridiculous. I wish you all the best going privately xxx
