Hi,I was just wondering how everyone else is doing with waiting times.im waiting for bowel surgery with regards to my endemetrosis

I’m in Essex and waiting for bowel surgery the waiting is going on forever

I'm in the north west waiting for similar surgery plus a full hysterectomy....I was told it would be three months plus before they would get back to me. That was three months ago, so I live in hope!!! hahahahaI don't like the idea of waiting too long while bowel is involved, things progress too quickly and surgery will be more complicated by the time we all get seen......So frustrating!!

Have you been in contact with your hospital, try and find out what kind of wait your looking at?

They said the general surgeons haven’t released dates yet so she has no clue! I just want a date so I can get organised with my children and work. X

Hi,I went on the waiting list for surgery Jan 20. I was told from the start it would be a years wait for the bowel surgeon. I had my surgery just over 2 weeks ago. Im up in Scotland. Hope you hear something soon xx

It went well thanks. Managed to avoid the bowel resection and did a bowel shaving instead. Adhesions removed and some work done around my ureters and part of my vagina cut away. I know it's early days but the instant relief I felt with not having the constant back pain is amazing. Just need to heal now xx
