I was referred for an MRI to see if anything would come up, and they found no deep pelvic endometriosis. So I’m just wondering what the next stage would be?
They have sent me the letter they have sent to my doctors, and said they would keep them updated.
Has anyone else been through this? And if so, what is the next stage?
Thank you

Hi NikNak,Good news your MRI was clear!!! Congratulations! Celebrate! 😀
But, you still have endo, don't you? It's no fun. I know, I have it too. 😐
If you have pain from endo, and you haven't had a laparoscopy and excision of the endo lesions, this is what I would request.
To do this, you can ask GP for referral to BSGE accredited endometriosis centre, and in the consultant appointment, you can request a lap and excision of endo.
Thank you for commenting! And thank you for the advice!
I think the gynaecologist that specialises in Endo is going to be speaking to me about going in surgically. They don’t want to leave it there, they want to do more investigating.
She did say that an MRI as well as an ultrasound doesn’t always pick it up. So I’m hoping that’s the next step! If not, I will keep pushing!
