Hi Everyone, hope you're all ok! I was wondering if anyone has had anything similar and any advice would be really appreciated.
I've had an ultrasound to look for cysts and the doctor performing it said that my uterus was stuck to the right-hand side of my body and my right ovary is stuck behind it so she was not able to get a good look at it. I know that reproductive organs can stick to one another with endometriosis and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this so I know what questions to ask when I have a follow-up appointment.
Thank you in advance for any help, hope you're staying safe x

Hi Lemon_tree,
I have that too. The consultant gynaecologist I saw made a similar observation (adhesions sticking together ovary, uterus, others) during a laparoscopy, and she's requesting an MRI for me to gather more information. After the information gathering, she'll get back to me with suggestions around any surgery that might be applicable.
During the follow up appointment, maybe you'd like to consider requesting an MRI scan if you are having pain from endometriosis (maybe from adhesions)?
Thank you so much, yes I definitely will. My doctor has always said that you can't see endo on an MRI but I'm sure it would show more about this. Hope you are well x
Hello I too had something similar. I've been dealing with Endo for several years now. Was having terrible right side & pelvic pain so made the decision to have my right ovary and tube removed to see if that would help. Of course when the did the lap. surgery they found endo but also found my ovary was fused to my pelvis so they would've had to remove my ovary anyway. After a longer surgery than planned, trying to get all of the Endo out I am still in pain and still having problems. I would make a list of all of the questions you may have and have a good clear conversation with your doctor about what you want (still wanting children etc.), Talk about all of your options. I'm sorry to hear about your situation and wish you the best.
