Blood clots after hysterectomy

Hi has anyone had a large blood clot after hysterectomy? Is this normal? My hysterectomy was almost 3 weeks ago but bleeding is getting worse anyone else had this? X

Hi I had a total hysterectomy they left both my ovaries x

Did they say that you might bleed after the hysterectomy? I had a full hysterectomy and my specialist said that i shouldn't have any bleeding again,so maybe you should go see a doctor if the bleeding is heavy. Especially if you having blood clots my lovely. 💛💛

Hi thank you for your reply I’m off to have sone test done at the GPs as they was a little concerned as I have a fever too. X

Hi I feel fully recovered now thank you. I had a post op infection!! Was give antibiotics and it did the job. I must say it’s been the best thing I ever did 😀. How’s you? X

Ahh that’s fabulous news 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I recently had an emergency radical hysterectomy due to endometrial cancer 😫 Had op on 21st Jan. I’m still waiting for histology report as it’s been sent to Oxford for a second opinion, Then will see if I need radiotherapy. It’s been bonkers!!

I’m so sorry sounds like an horrendous time. How is your recovery going from the hysterectomy? Have they given you any time frame for results? I hope you have lots of help and support around you. If you ever need to talk message me. Xx
