Hey Everyone! I just joined and am excited to get connected. I had a few questions. I I am unsure if I have endometriosis or not, as my doctors have not been helpful at all. I am concerned tho, because of what happens on my period. Every month, right before and during my period, my legs and arms go numb to the point where it is hard to walk. When they aren't numb they are tingling or painful. I have intense cramps to the point where I cant move. Is this normal? What are your opinions? Thank you guys!

I would go back to the GP and ask for a second opinion. I have never had those symptoms and it sounds horrible. I have had years of GPs not understanding and not listening so I know what a battle it can be. Just keep asking as you will eventually find one that will get it. Good luck x
Sorry to hear that... must be hard. Agree with the other comment, go back and ask for another opinion and get some more help. I’ve had endo&adeno for over 20 years and never experienced what you describe there. Hope you can get some help
Leg pain and/or nerve related sensations are common symptoms of endo affecting the uterosacral ligaments which are the most common location for endo. This tends to involve the left side most. But there will usually be other symptoms such as lower back pain and bowel issues. You might find the first chapter of the ESHRE guideline useful in seeing what endo symptoms you might identify with generally.

I have endometriosis (finally got my laparoscopy after 1 year of waiting) . I was going every month to my gp saying that I do think is endometriosis and he was keep giving me painkillers for my period saying that is normal to have pain and is not necessary to have endometriosis 😳. My period pain was so bad that I couldn’t move , I was crying every month and taking day of from work because of pain . started ivf 2 years ago and even more I said before to start that I think I do have endometriosis they said to me that period pain is normal and don’t need to be concerned about . My transfer failed 3 times and finally they suggested laparoscopy and histeroscopy 😳. Surprise, surprise I have endometriosis and the surgeon was asking how I did ivf before to check what is going on inside 🙈. They discovered that I have endometriosis and hidrosalpinx
