Endo has gotten worse : Hi i havent been... - Endometriosis UK
Endo has gotten worse
Hi... Ask for a referral to a gynaecologist. Drs don’t have a lot of knowledge on Endo. Look at foods you eat as this might contribute and look into vitamins that might help. I’ve also struggled for a long time & know that certain foods aggravate my stomach and cause Endo symptoms to be worse. Good luck
Thank you i will anything to make it better
I take turmeric capsules, magnesium & B vitamins. I drink turmeric tea (pukka) and am dairy free. I have cut down on my wheat, gluten & red meat. Sometimes it feels as though it doesn’t make a difference which can get me down but I carry on pushing through as best I can. It does help.. If I can help with anything else please ask x
Hi .... I took up yoga after my diagnosis and honestly it can completely switch my mood from really down about it all to feeling positive and pro active about my treatment. I’m not very good at it and you don’t have to be, download an app and get your self a quiet space for 30 minutes and give it a go might just put you in the right frame of mind to talk to a doctor or research treatments that could suit you xx
I would def ask for a referral it can take continued return to Doctors to get the answers you need but don't give up! its not normal to be in so much pain don't let anyone convince you it is.
Stress is a real trigger for me and i know for others so anything that helps with feeling calm and grounded, yoga, stretching, Breathwork, meditation it's finding what feels comfortable and right for you.
Looking at diet has also helped me that can feel overwhelming and you can fall into the trap of cutting everything out, which is then counter productive. It's worth getting some advice from a nutritionist (which is what i did) or there are some great books out there written by health professionals, with guidance and explanations. I really liked Kate Edmonds book, 4 week Endometriosis diet plan. also Dr Rangan Chatterjee feel better in 5 has some great practices and ideas for overall wellbeing, I've found incorporating these helps with the feelings of anger, frustration and low mood, which exasperate my pain.
I hope you get some answers soon and find ways to manage the pain that works for you
good luck
Thank you for the advice x
