If I don’t take Laxido each day I can’t go. At one point I was taking three/four. An out of hours GP, who happened to be a gynaecologist prescribed it. Straight away she said it was one of the symptoms. I was given a liquid lactulose to take with morphine. I tried this after lap, it sort of worked, along with senokot.
I’d speak to GP, I’m sure they’ll be able to help.
Hi. I have similar symptoms to yours, although the diagnosis I received after lap in September 2018 is incomplete and symptoms not recognised. What has helped me the most has been to put myself on an exclusion /anti inflammatory diet. The main recognised culprits that cause a lot of us pain and inflammation are: gluten, dairy, soya, chocolate, caffeine, brown rice which is what I have removed from my diet. I buy vegan chocolate instead and my diet is incorporated in the family meals. It has helped me in terms of pain, it has reduced the severity of the flare ups and bloating and the digestion is more fluid. It is not perfect, but it helps. I also complement with magnesium glycenate, Vitamin D, B12, iron. At times, I also massage the buttock that is in pain, sometimes with Ibulieve gel, it helps a bit to relax the muscles, ligaments. At other times, a hot bath or hot water bottle can also help. The diet works for some people, but not always, it is a matter of finding what suits you. Stay safe.
