Prior DVD and Visanne for endo

Hello, wondering if anyone has had a DVT and is taking Visanne or other type of drug to reduce endometrial lining? Recent (finally) diagnosised with endometriosis and adenomyosis at 44. Thank you.

Hi MLB4420, I have never officially been told that I have endometriosis or adenomyosis however I have been dealing with pelvic pain for over 10 years and my gynecologist recently putme on Visanne I assume because she suspects I have one or both. I took Visanne for 2 weeks and had to stop. I was exhausted, I had very painful swollen breasts, headaches and a severe depressed feeling, the breaker was the last day when I developed a yeast infection. My gynecologist said the symptoms may go away with continued use but may wasn't goid enough for me, I'd rather deal with the pain then the feelings like I didn't want to participate in anything and would rather lay on the couch. I have a follow up in 2 weeks to look at next steps. Hopefully your experience with Visanne is not like mine.
