I'm more confused than ever now. I had my second lap 3 weeks ago, with a BSGE surgeon, before that I had a lap with a locum gyne in 2015. In between a horrific c section done by a inexperienced registrar. In the surgery notes it is recorded that possible endometriosis and or scar tissue is seen.
In my follow up today my notes show that I had no endometriosis but everything was stuck with major adhesions. My left ovary was twisted and stuck to my womb, bowel and pelvic cavity. My right ovary was stuck to my womb. My c section scar was pretty much solid car tissue.
In 2015 I was told it was endo, choc cysts were seen and my symptoms hardly changed in between including in pregnancy. Even the worst areas haven't changed it's always the left. Periods have remained heavy and extremely painful, sex painful, fatigue and memory fog. I have noticed a positive change since surgery.
All the adhesions have been separated and left inside me and nothing has been tested to see if it was endo. It took me 18 months to get seen in a BSCE and I'm more confused than before treatment. Because I no longer have endometriosis I have been discharged so I would have to jump through all the hoops for another BCGE appointment.
