I’ve just had my second prostap injection before Christmas. Since then I’ve started to experience joint and muscle pain... worse in the morning. I feel like I’ve run a marathon every day! (I have run a marathon and it literally feels like it!)
Does anyone have any advice to help relieve this? Supplements etc?
Thanks x

I think I’ve not had it as bad as you but I have experienced slightly sore joints particularly in my hands. Nothing I can point to specifically (sorry) except to say I’ve been on it two years and I think it was worse at the start - definitely hasn’t got worse which might be reassuring for you. I have just started taking vitamin D and calcium supplements on docs advice. Might be worth giving that a go? I’ve only been taking them a fortnight so a bit soon to say if they’re having any obvious effect. Good luck!
I do (tibolone), but I was getting really pronounced mood swings so I only take enough (ok’d with consultant!) to stave off the night sweats - for me that’s about 3 tablets a week.
Ok thank you. I’m not on any HRT so maybe that’s a way forward in the future. I’ve just bought some multivitamin tables designed for menopause so I’m hoping that helps in the meantime.
