1 day period

Hi,

I am 35 and have been diagnosed with endometriosis and suspected adenomyosis (it’s my understanding that adenomyosis can’t be truly diagnosed without having a hysterectomy)

My periods are very regular, around every 26 days but I have a few days of light spotting from day 22 - 26 and then 1 day of really heavy bleeding. And then maybe a very light day and back to a couple of days of spotting. I have pain/symptoms but understand that is due to endo/adeno.

Does anybody else have a short period and understand why? I am just curious as to whether it is normal or not...

Hello

Yes so my periods are pretty short. I have 1 medium flow day, 2 light days and another day or two of spotting. This falls within the normal range of how long a period lasts. As I think anything that lasts between 3-7days is counted as "normal". Mine are lighter and shorter since being on the pill I'm on, as it helps reduce the flow which helps with the length of my period.
