Advice on meds for holiday

I’m due to go on holiday in 2 weeks for 3 weeks. I will be day 14 when we start travelling which is when my pain starts and then I will be on there. It’s a once in a lifetime holiday which involves snorkelling etc.

Saw Gp this am who prescribed the POP and methanamic acid! I cant take northisterone as had it 3 years back and became very spacey on them. Also methanamic acid gives me really upset stomachs.

Do you recon this will help or shall I just manage pain & period? I’m due surgery in September anyway! I’m not convinced the GP knew what to do!

As to of it'll work there no definitive answer unfortunately as everyone is different.

But if mefanemic acid gives you an upset stomachs speak to the pharmacist about getting a stomach protector, this should help. And make sure you eat when taking the mefanemic acid even with the stomach protectors.
