Are there any female gynecologists? Esp BSGE affiliated ones

I'm wondering where would be the best place to see a BSGE gynecologist?

But I really want a good female gynecologists?

Google BSGC doctors,you will find all the UK BSGC consultants with their names ,you can easily find female gyno in your area.Good luck

I did go to a site which listed these centres and honestly all the gynes were male except for one in London, and I live in Birmingham!!!

But I might just have to travel down if I have to

No some are female as well, I know one in Oldham royal infarmiary ,called Dr G.Ahmed,I will look at it again for you

See this link there is number of female gynes, select your nearest one,and I second this opinion male gynes are much better.

Any reason why it has to be a female gynae? Other than the obvious, they see hundreds of women so there’s nothing to be embarrassed of. In my personal experience I’ve actually got better treatment (infact treatment at all) from male gynae’s so don’t want you to rule them out completely😊

I always found female gynae’s quite dismissive - hence I’ve been enduring for 17 odd years!!!
