Hi Katie,

I really feel for you, I know exactly how you feel it can be so debilitating and disheartening. Right now I'm on a gluten free, low sugar, low caffeine, low dairy, vegetarian diet. I do eat grass-fed butter because it has a lot of nutrients but no conventional dairy as it's highly processed. When I'm being incredibly strict with my diet then I find my symptoms are less. If I waver from this, say the rare time I can see some friends and have a couple if drinks and need junk food then my symptoms are a lot worse.

Diet is key to managing! Also don't shy away from healthy fats as these are very important to nourish your body, avocado, olives, extra virgin coconut and olive oil, etc. It's better to go low sugar and starch.

Ultimately, people will give you different opinions on diet, you need to try what works for YOUR body. Typically most endo sufferes see improvement with gluten free so definitely start with that.

Most importantly, eat your greens!! As much as possible, in smoothies, soups, steamed, sauted, whatever- just eat them! Also ensure you're getting a variety of colourful (low sugar) fruits and veggies and sulphur-rich veggies too.

Wishing you health and happiness!

Thanks so much madula!!! I'm off today to do a food shop! I've been trying the keto diet for a few weeks now which seems to be a good base to start from!!!

Your advice is fab!!!!! I did see a physio who just told me to eat more sweetcorn! You've got to laugh 🌽🤣
