I’ve had zolodex injections for the last 6 months with my last being over a month ago. My endo pain has already come back and even worse than ever. Did anyone else’s come back this quick and did you go back to see your doctor?
I really don’t want to go back on the injections because the hot flushes, effect on my mood and weight gain are too bad to be on long term.
Could anyone advise on any other treatments (holistic or otherwise) that they feel have helped?
I’ve started exercising more (mostly to shift the weight gained from the injections) so I’m hoping this will help but I’m not sure about how effective it will be?
My doctor is reluctant to operate because ‘it’s not bad enough’ but I’m really fed up and just want it gone.

I’ve just finished a years worth of zoladex and mine came back around 3/4 weeks as well. It’s 8 weeks now and I still haven’t come on but have episodes of severe pain and the other day it was all in my back again 😓
I waiting for a hysterectomy, ovaries removed & bowel resection.
I’ve tried most options and ironically they were all ok for approx 6 months & then I would start having problems! Nothing has been amazing sadly.
It’s so frustrating isn’t it 😫 I’m hoping as I start exercising more it’ll calm down but seems as it’s worse than ever I’m not holding out much hope. Thanks for replying. I don’t know anyone else with endo so it’s nice to talk to someone who understands
Anytime. It’s tough as I’ve gained so much weight and was running until 6 years ago when it got horrendous. I find it tough and I’m in a never ending circle of exercise - pain - bad eating - weight gain - depression 🥺
