After putting in a complaint after seeing the gyney consultant which was traumatic such comments as you can't have endo you have kids and whenever I spoke trying to make me sound like a simpleton reading my own name out on my results of scan they have finally referred me on to an endo specialist in Liverpool to obtain a second opinion has anyone been there? Are they more understanding as I suffer from anxiety not that the previous consultant looked at what meds I'm on. Is there anything I should do in prep of this to help the process know it's early days as they have just sent my referral Tuesday any help or advice would be really appreciated 😊

I'm under the endo guys at the women's and they've been fab. Went from being told it was all in my head and that it would get better if I lost weight to finally being referred. I see Ms Oktaba (not quite sure that's how you spell her name) and she's diagnosed me, put me on prostap which has been a godsend in my case, referred me to the pain consultant at the Walton (who are amazing and for the 1st time in yrs I'm not in daily agony), and listed me for a lap when I can fit it into my schedule. Honestly they are amazing, and they listen. Best of all they believe you. I hope you're experience is just as good, but for me they've literally saved my sanity and given me my life back xx

Also should've said, I've got PTSD from a previous assault and they've been so understanding. When it comes to anxiety ect just let them know and they'll deal with it really well. Good luck! 😘

Thank you so much I've just been worried I'd go to Liverpool and have the same experience. Over the past 3 years when It started up again I've had It blamed on everything from my weight, saying the pain I'm in can't be gyney related it's stress ibs to now the blaming it on sciatica and bone problems? All because I walked in with a stick which I don't lean on I use it as the pain knocks my leg from under me and don't really want to fall over. Thank you so much 😁
