After initially having a laparoscopy in May 2018 I was referred to a specialist in Preston to remove the last of my endo. By Nov 2018 my appointment finally came through - I was told my second lap would be in 6-8 weeks. It’s now nearly 6 months later and when I last rang they said it would be up to a year and it would not be an endo specialist just a gynaecologist- which is exactly what I had the first time around! Does anyone have any advice about what I should do next? I feel like I’ve hit a dead end. Are there any other consultants or hospitals that people would recommend in the northwest that I can try and get re-referred to? I really feel like I’ve just been left. Thanks for all your help. x

St. Mary's in Manchester has a BGSE registered specialist, Dr. Edi-Osagie.
