Looking for information

Ive had a diagnosis of endo for over 16 years . After another admission to hospital for pain I was sent to see my consultant again. The consultant wants me to have the monthly injection and hrt for 6 months.

I’m worried as she said it could make my symptoms just as bad and it may not help the pain and I have to trial it for 6 months.

Has anybody else done this? What kind of side affects did they get ,if any?

Does anyone recommend it.just want some honest feedback.when I wouldn’t commit to starting the treatment without reading about it, the consultant became disinterested in my questions and just gave me a leaflet.

I had monthly Zoladex injections for six months and another time I had them for 2 years along with HRT. Made me tired but did certainly help with pain and bleeding. I tried the three monthly ones but they didn’t seem to last for the whole three months so I stuck to monthly ones. Whenever I stopped the injections the endo symptoms eventually came back.
