Hey, how long ago was your surgery if you had it? As your body may be recovering still.

I know how you feel though as I’m 5 months post lap and not seeing any improvements with my pain or periods.

You just have to really advocate your problem with the doctors and basically wear them down until they listen.

Are you on any contraceptive?

Thanks for your response . I haven’t had any surgery am going for hysterocopy in feb have you had one of these ? No contraceptives as they don’t agree with my body at all ... they gave me transacid stuff which helps but feel like I’m coming on all the time bloated in pain ... periods are horrendous .. how long did you have to see the doc before you got your lap ? Thanks

No worries, I had a nightmare of a year to get a lap and ended up seeing 7 gynaes between July 2017 and January 2018 when I eventually had enough and went private for a consultation. It was a very long process as I wasn't being taking serious due to be young (I was 18/19). It took a year before I finally had surgery.

I haven't had a hysteroscopy as far as I am aware. Contraceptives don't agree with my body either but I don't have a choice anymore and have to start the injection as endo could be growing back according to my doctor xx

It’s just keyhole surgery so it’s nothing major or anything. They removed endo in a few places and an ovarian cyst. I mainly had it around like my tubes and ovaries

And Depo-provera injection, it can help stop your periods and don’t worry, I’m happy to help 💕 xx

I had a laparoscopy first time 7 years ago but took me about 2 years to get one and was exactly what I thought 2nd time was last year along with a hysteroscopy. Also might be good to ask for an mri as hysteroscopy can't see everywhere so if u have it outside tubes and things it won't show it all over whereas mri which I had last month shows which organs it may be affecting. I've had the pro stap injection now and take hrt but I'm back to docs today with more pain! Had works party on sat and had to come home early! Hope they get it sorted for you just try and stay firm I ended up going to a and e and getting admitted last time to get something done. Xx

As the pain is bad try to look at your diet as that could be a trigger. Inflammatory foods like diary, red meat, soya, sugar, and white foods, white bread, white pasta, white rice are also triggers for pain. Swap to wholemeal. Replace dairy with almond/ hazelnut milk if you have no nut allergies!! See if that helps x
