Hello Kelsa,
Severe headaches / migraines can be a side effect of GnRH treatment. Which brand are you on?

Hi thanks for the reply I'm on triptorelin.x
Medicines.org.uk (which is a database of all drugs licensed in the UK) contains both the “Patient Information Leaflet” and also the more detailed “Summary of Product Characteristic” for Triptorelin (trade name Decapeptyl). You can find it here:
medicines.org.uk/emc/produc...
That’s the monthly formulation, if you search for Triptorelin you can also find the 3-monthly injection leaflets on there if you are on that formulation instead.
I find it can help to print a copy off and have it with you when you speak to your GP / Specialist. It lets you refer them to the relevant section of the drug manufacturer’s guidance regarding the type of symptom/side effect you’ve concerns about so they can find an appropriate way to monitor and manage/treat it so you get three best result from your treatment.
In the meantime I also suffer migraines and depending on the severity I rely on codeine / naproxen and also those Forehead mentholated cool patches you can put on your forehead to help relax the tensed up muscles.
Hope you feel better soon, x X x
