Help and advice much needed girls!!

Hi everyone,

Recently have come off the pill (came off it about 6 weeks ago). I’ve had no period but brown discharge/blood after going to the toilet or sex.

I’ve had severe bloating and cramps for the past few weeks.

My lady parts are also extremely itchy during some times through the day and small cyst like lumps on my lady part ‘lips’

I have also developed piles through constipation.

I have had a STI check and all clear, so I am wondering if this could be due to endo?

Sorry for all the info guys but I’m loosing the will to live

Some of those things could be related to endo but it sounds like you need to go to the GP. And you might want to track your symptoms over time. 6 weeks is probably not long enough to work out what's going on after coming off the pill.

If you've had the all clear for STIs, the small bumps you describe could be sebaceous cysts and are unrelated to endo. Sometimes wearing pads or pantyliners constantly can cause them. Have you ruled out thrush?

Are you getting plenty of fibre in your diet? I have endo-related constipation, and I find that Fybogel works (it's basically pure fibre), but there may be other things to try first. Fybogel does initially make the bloating worse before it gets better.

I was always told brown blood is old blood so it’s getting caught somewhere (if you know what I mean!) I’d go get checked out. x
