Hiya I had my diagnostic lap in May, they found endo but i didn’t have any removed., I thought I’d only need one or two days off work after it, but I ended on being off nearly a fortnight. The surgery literally shocked my body, it took me days to get the energy to get up and walk around the house, probably from not eating much either, but slowly and surely you find yourself able to do more. Everybody recovers differently but the most important thing is to give yourself time to recover, especially if you get anything removed, just listen to your body and don’t overdo it. Good luck x

Good luck and hope it goes well for you. I can’t give you any tips as I have not had mine yet although from what I see on here, give yourself enough time to recover & have your friends and family to look after you x

Good luck, take comfy clothes along with you. Once your able, get walking about as much as you can because it will make things like going for a wee easier. They won’t let you leave until then.

Xx

Hey,

Don’t be scared, try and stay as calm as you can.. everyone will put you at ease.

My advice would be to go prepared.. take some heat pads for the gas pain afterwards and also a pillow to put over your tummy in the car then your seatbelt over the top.. Anything you’re going to need within the following few days needs to be within reach, remember bending down and stretching for things is a no no. Just try and make it easier for yourself.. I wasn’t overly keen on food afterwards and must have got through a couple of packs of rich tea biscuits just so I could take my pain meds 😊

It’s been 4 weeks today since mine.

Best of luck with it all..x
