Has anyone had a ventrosuspension?

I'm currently on the wait list for one, as I have been suffering with heavy painful periods accompanied with pain upon intercourse. It was discovered by my consultant that my uterus seems to be quite severely retroverted and this is the suggested cause for the painful heavy periods and pain upon intercourse. I'm just really eager to speak with someone who may have also had the procedure done, and find out what their experience may have been like?

Hi following this as just got my letter through from trying to insert a mirena, and ended up with them doing a hysteroscopy, which states on the letter " the uterus was deeply retroverted and the cervixs tight" anyway coil didn't go in.x
