What did Zoladex do to you?

I feel as though I’ve forgotten who I am and having to rebuild as such x

Evening ..

I have been on Zoladex since March - I am on it for 6 months. Some of the side effects I have had so far-

Hot flushes

Headache/migraines (but that was only for a few days 2 weeks after the first injection)

Memory fuzzy

Joint achy (but I have been taking an extra calcium vitamin to help with joints)

No bleeding *since having the injection*

Itchy

Yeah it’s not been the funniest journey so far .. but hopefully the end result after my next operation will be beneficial!

How long have you been on Zoladex?

I’ve been on it since May. I had my last injection just under two weeks ago. I’ve bren severely depressed and terrible sleep. Feel like I’m floating most of the time, I’m not on HRT.

When is your op? Mine was 3 weeks ago xx

I’m sorry to hear that .. have you expressed this to your GP?

I am not HRT either - is wouldn’t want to put more unknown things in my body!

I had one operation in March and the next will be October time.

I was on it last November for 6 months. had to take hrt by January just started to feel better in Feb then loads better once last injection out of system in April. started burning pain again end of June and just had first period this weekend. it's the burning I can't cope with. back at hospital on wed and probably start another 6 month. dreading the fob brain but hrt did help massively x

I felt awful and had all the side effects while on the injection but then found out my GP had not given me the HRT tablets I was meant to have. After taking HRT I felt so much better. The 6 months I was on the Zoladex were the best I’ve felt in years x
