This pain is way too much and is keeping me awake 😫 I can’t use a hot water bottle as my room feels like a sauna and I have no painkillers left.

I’m still waiting for a lap but my doctor thinks it’s endo. I don’t think I can wait till August or September for it though 😫

If your in that much pain ask for help and support off your family I pay for mine. I can not live with out them otherwise I would be in hospital full time, so what ever money you can get together make it the first Priority. Pain killers will not make it go away but can give you abit if comfort certainly better than a hot water bottle. Best thing I have is codeine diclofenac and morphine. I have had endo for 6years it’s server effected my life massively and still suffer everyday. So I have tried absolutely everything take my advice get the pain killers and don’t be a push over at the hospital demand what you need until you get somewhere. Coz your the only person who knows what your going thu and how you feel. It’s not an easy ride this horrible thing but if you can make yourself a tiny bit more comfortable do it because it will drain you and only make you worse.

I was like this last night too - in the end I ran my hands and feet under cool water, until they were cold and got back in bed without drying them. That was enough to get me dozed off into a somewhat broken sleep at least. Warm nights are bad enough without pain in the mix!!

I got an emergency appointment at my doctors this morning as I had 2 hours sleep and feel awful this morning with heavy blood loss and clots 😫

I feel even worse because I woke my boyfriend up at 4am texting him and he has to go work at 6am for 12 hour shifts

Literally he messaged me this morning saying “what was wrong” but I was not in the mood to repeat myself so was like nothing it’s okay. I’m scared I’m gonna seem like a drama queen and he will leave for some girl who doesn’t have problems. It’s always a doubt at the back of my mind. 😔 xx

The nurse is going to try and get my surgery speeded up 🙌 only problem is it’s not the endo specialist Centre. Would I be able to get it changed?

in reply toprincessk09

I’m not sure but I had both surgeries done by gynaes and they both found and removed endo from my POD; the first one it was minor endo and he still saw it and treated it. Gynaes can deal with most endometriosis; but only in pelvic areas and not severe. pain and symptoms aren’t an indication of the severity of the endo; you have can little endo and huge level of pain and symptoms . If it’s found in other organs it has to be an endometriosis specialist. Endometriosis specialist says they only deal with severe cases that involve other organs; that’s what my endometriosis nurse has said. I was referred as I have endometriosis all over my rectum and no gynae can touch that. It’s good the nurse is speeding it up 🤞🏻 xoxo

Yeah I was a bit worried that a general gynae might miss endo but I’ll just ask a bunch of questions at the pre op. They will probably hate me afterwards haha.

Yeah out of all the doctors I’ve seen, it took a nurse to actually do something. I’m happy but scared as it’s my first surgery and being put to sleep freaks the hell out of me. Xx

Sorry I've come late to this ! There are some yoga type positions and stretches that do help with the pain. I know it sounds nuts but have a look on YouTube for the exact moves . It helps to move some of the blood and inflammation away from the pelvis . It's by no means a cure but I think it helps a little. Worth a try
