Hi, I know it's horrible and you will feel little lost.. I had similar. They gave me a 6 month course of zoladex injections and it really helped. Yes, it switches off your ovaries (They were my specialsts words!) But I found my pain went by 90%, i felt hormonal at times and I tried hrt for a week but the pain flew back. I would def recommend zoladex for pain relief alone.. hope it helps you. After the 6month course they recommended the.mirena coil which I had fitted.. helped again.. of course it's a contraceptive also but that was fine by me. These kept me going until final (I hope) surgery fee weeks ago.. hope this helps you xx
Hard to think positive at times I know.. you will get there. If unsure speak to your specialist again for them to explain it to you so you can be sure right thing for you.. going off my experience of it though it really helped xx
