It depends on what type of pain it is, and can be worth seeing a pain specialist if you can.

There is structural pain like nerve pain from inflammation, cramps, and also sometimes people with chronic pain can develop issues with the central pain system which causes neuropathic pain.

I don't have typical symptoms but must have neuropathic pain as I'm finding pregabalin helpful. I've also been offered a trigger injection for coccyx and leg nerve pain after my operation.

I'm also trying meditation to calm my breathing.

I myself have tried to stay off the opiates as for me their side effects can cause as many problems as they solve. But they are a total lifeline for many women with different types of pain and endo.

Thank you for your reply.

I too am on pregablin my dose is going up to 50mg twice a day. It isn't doing much as of yet but I have just swapped from amitriptyline so I still have a while to see.

I also take diazipam for anxiety but If im having really bad leg pain or hip pain or general pain around my vagina and back, i take them then too. Only i have to increase the dose for the pain as 5mg won't touch it. But it is very helpful for me!

Thank you for explaining the pain effects to me I'll research this more too.

I've been diagnosed with sciatica to, but I'm starting to think it's in fact the endometriosis.

Thanky you for your reply.
