I thought the government had to offer statuatory sick pay if you were off for more than 4 days? Have you spoke to your manager about it? Recovery time varies depending on your job type and what you've had done during surgery, I had to go back a week and a half later because I needed the cash but I wasn't ready, ideally I'd have taken 3 weeks but I work in a very active job!

Yeah I think it's minimum £88 a week but I spoke to work and they settled on something I could afford and came back to do half days bc it won't be beneficial to them if I end up pushing too hard and ending up needing to be off for weeks!

Hello, I had mine 2 weeks ago this coming Tuesday. I thought I’d be up and about in 3 days but it’s been closer to the 2 weeks mark. Mine was only diagnostic and had a cyst removed/ biopsy’s taken and also hysteroscopy. I know everyone is different but it’s taken me a while 😒 and I’m still not great now.
