2nd zoladex today!

After the last nurse was very rude I had a lovely nurse today! She numbed me before the injection and even put a dressing on so the blood wouldn't ruin my clothes! She also informed me that if these injections work and stop my pain they'll go straight in and remove my ovaries (didn't say anything about removing endo if they find it).. night sweats have already started which are waking me up in the night and although this is making me super tired the pain is not as bad and I am not in as much pain after sex which means they are starting to work! After all these years of pain I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere!

I am really glad to hear zoladex is working well for you.

I found having a cool spray next to me during the night worked well for me and I kept gel cool packs in the freezer which helped me drift off to sleep on really bad nights.

Thank you I will get some cooling spray. I'm having to take a big bottle of water to bed too as I keep waking up so dehydrated due to the excessive sweating!
