Hello, I have been suffering from endometrisos since I was 15 I am now 20, it wasn’t till last year I was diagnosed after being treated with so many conctraceptive pills my GP finally said enough is enough and referred me to gynae, they have put me on zodelax injection, started at 6 months and they then decided to put me on it for an extra so a year in total. I’m coming towards the end of my injections and I can remember after the first 6 months I was in so much pain with in days of the injection running out, they have said to be about having the coil fitted but I believe I am to young and haven’t read many good reviews about this, I was just wondering if anyone else has been in my situation and if so what their next steps were?

The coil is one of those things different for everyone ; my mum swears by it but my sister hates it! I don't think there's an age limit for it, I'm 20 and going for a Lap where I might have it fitted after depending on the results of a clinical trial. I mean I'd rather not but like, if pills and things don't work, it can't hurt to look at another option, even if you only try it for 3 months and then decide it's not for you x
