I am a Little confused, ADVICE please!

Hi, I ama little confused here. Please any advice would be grateful. Here it goes..

I was on birth control (patch) for almost 5 years. I stopped taking them in end of July2017, two months no sex, periods were ok after stopping birth control, but before that they were heavy for 1/2 days every time I had my menstrual cycle. Now in Sept. 2017 I had sex, And on september 23 I was ovulating, I know this bcuz I took an ovulation kit on that day, and plus I was having cramps! but it all started on Sept. 25 that I started spotting it was brownish for the first day, then it turned light red light flow, no pain, no itching, nothing. Im just worried bcuz its been almost two weeks of light spotting/bleeding before my real period starts. Im supposed to get my real period on Sept. 6, I took a pregnancy test yesterday, and the day before it was negative! Please any advice, or help.!! Thank you.

No, not that I know of. Nothing.. I called yesterday to go see my ObGyn but its full, they told me to call friday morning to get a apppintment that same day.

Spotting and bleeding in between periods is a symptom but your hormones could be adjusting which I doubt if your cycles have been fine up till now. See what your gynae says and I hope it gets sorted. I'm guessing your in America? Not in uk? Xxx
