laparoscopy

Hi all,

I had a laparoscopy in june to remove endo and I still seem to be suffering quite badly in terms of my periods the pain has not reduced at all.

Has anyone else experienced this x

Hi, I had a hysterectomy in April and I have a lot more pain now than I did before my op 😭 I'm currently waiting to be referred back to a endo specialist to see if there is anything else that can be done.

Thank you for your reply I'm going to go back to the dr to get referred back to the gyno.... My periods are horrible I dread going to the toilet it's so gross, and the constant pains everyday are becoming unbearable again.

Unfortunately ovulation and period pains don't go away after laparoscopy,however,what they should have said to get is mefaneamic acid prescribed to help with heavy and painful periods,that's what I use and it works wonders xx

Yes Definately ask,my Gynae told me to get them and I only normally need to take them on the first day and then I'm fine they're just a strong anti inflammatory.Good luck xx
