We really want to empower women to be able to make positive changes to their lives to be more in control of this debilitating illness and/or providing a safe space where they will not be judged and the opportunity to meet other women who have been through exactly the same thing. The group is for anyone who is experiencing or has had endometriosis or is supporting someone with it. It is to find others, get support and raise awareness of endometriosis. We want to empower people to be able to manage and be back in control of their lives. We will have informal meetings, speakers and we would also love to do the occasional social meet and fundraising events! Our first group is on Wednesday 5th July at Morrisons meeting room in Totnes at 6.30pm-8pm. They will then be held monthly.
It is important to understand that you are not alone and support can make such a positive difference to people’s lives. We look forward to meeting you!

I've only just seen this: I would really like to come, but cannot make it tonight.
When was this first advertised? I missed checking my 'Health Unlocked' posts yesterday as a friend is staying, but I usually check them pretty much daily. If I'd known earlier I would definitely be there.
I will write a post to the email link for the Devon Group, so that I can hopefully get onto their mailing list, but if there are to be more posts on this site about Devon/Totnes meetings, can they give more advance warning, please?!
