Not good...

So I went for my internal scan yesterday before my laparoscopy to check for endometriosis and then they found a possible large cyst in my womb and possible signs of polycystic ovaries. Fan fucking tastic.

It's really got me down and I'm struggling to stay positive because of all of the pain but at least I got my laparoscopy date- April 6th.

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!

Hope all of you lovely ladies are doing okay xxxx

It is exhausting living with these problems and exhausting having to keep explaining yourself to the docs all the time before they refer you to hospital. It took me 2 bloody years!!!! They start with stress? Normal period pains? Food, drink? When all they have to do is send us to the hosptial for a scan an the answers right infront of your face! Ive read about all the symtoms women get with endo and they sound like all the symptoms of ovarian cancer so if the docs know these symtoms why arent women being checked quicker even if it is endo and not cancer???

Hi, I am a PCOS and endo sufferer. It's far from great but also good to have a diagnosis and get the treatment needed.

Fingers crossed with your lap.

Stay positive xox

Best of luck, I am too having lap no3 on April 4th. I have been diagnosed with pcos, endo stage 4 (chocolate cysts bavk again alongside adhesions) and also adenimiosis. My first lap they didn't find anything, but that was done under general gynae. 3years later and after many scans got diagnosed with stage4 due to a huge chocolate cyst everyone missed on my right ovary. Anyways make sure you are treated at an accredited BSGE centre, as they know their stuff. Don't want you to have inconclusive lap like I did, as they missed endo even though I had loads of symptoms.

I'm so sorry that you've had to go through all of this! I hope that your lap goes well. Have you been given anything to help treat it if you don't mind me asking? x
