Hi Jean and Lisa hope it all goes well for you both, I had my hysterectomy a year ago jan 16th. Best decision I made, I'd suffered with endo pain for 20 years. So wierd but nice to not have pain every day. Make sure you look after yourselves and don't push yourself to do too much after. Xx take care

My hysterectomy is tomorrow! Already had excision surgery and removal of one ovary and tube last April (at a BSGE centre) but the pain I had following another op 14 months earlier (Novasure) never went and is worse. Have done the Prostap injections (last Oct 2015 -2016). Helped a bit but not the pain by uterus. Having total hysterectomy plus removal of remaining ovary and tube tomorrow. Have to go on HRT. Am so nervous and frightened that this awful pain will not go. Good luck to everyone waiting for surgery. Xxx

Iv had a lot of laps to remove adhesions and been on prostap xx im having a vaginal hystrectomy and my consultant is going to leave both ovaries unless damaged xx he is really going to try to leave in at least one xx
