endometriosis: Is devils claw good for the... - Endometriosis UK
endometriosis
I'm not sure about Devils claw but I herd of raspberry leaf tea being good for endometriosis I also herd of Angus catus being helpful to hope that this helps and u feel better soon xx
Hi, I used to take cat's claw for my pain and that really helped. Unfortunately it's no longer available in most of Europe, UK included. If anyone knows where to get it from I'd be interested to know. Thank you. I have heard of Agnus cactus helping some people with their symptoms.
awww thank you for that any help with this pain is very useful.... just fed up with waking up in awful pain especially when I have just released my bladder x
Have u maybe tried a herbalist as that were I got my Angus catus from or maybe Holland and Barrett as they sell mostly everything
gonna see me gyno in the new year see what they suggest but yes will be visiting holland and Barrett they was fab when I had my fallopian tube out and cysts coz of my endometriosis. had a lot If hot flushes x
Yeah they were good with me to I also use heat pads for out and about and hot water bottle when I'm home I even used deep heat on my stomach when the pain is bad hun xc
Be careful with agnus castus. It's not for everyone... read up on it. There are certain days in the month when you should take it and some when you shouldn't. I have to say that it did not help my pain. It made me feel less irritable but it delayed my period. I would not take it again.
Thanks Marie yes I have heard that from someone else.... like most people all I want is a pain free life. The pain on my left ovarie and lower back brings me to tears some days. hate taken pain killers they make me so tired and irritable. my periods are so heavy too can't walk sometimes am so cramped up. Thanks for your advice Marie it all helps x
I have cysts on my ovaries too... I feel your pain. Hope you find some relief from it soon. X
Thanks Marie what do you use.for pain relief am doubling up all the time on zapain. can't be good for me at all but it's the only thing that works at the min
I really struggle to find anything as my stomach is ridiculously sensitive. I try not to take anything and at the moment I am managing the endo with a good diet. I really think it makes a difference. I try and bank all my pain relief for when my period starts as that's when it's worse. X
I have same problem, and the agnus cactus helped me with the pains. Have to say amazing results and quite quickly when it comes to pain. However my menses are a mess. Taking just for few days a month I wouldn't recomend. Last month I took it for about 2 weeks then interrupted it and had my period for 10 long days, but no pain at all. This month I didn't interrupt it and my period is already a week late and nothing yet.
Yea same Marie oh the pain epically when passing water it's like little ninjas are squeezing every part of my bladder and left ovarie.sometimes it stops me from going. I had a internal ultrasound a few months ago and I have swollen ovaries and chocolate cysts so hopefully wen I see my gyno in Jan they may remove my ovaries. you sound so strong and it is wise to go on a good diet. I had my gallbladder removed in Feb so find it hard having a good apetite. keep me posted Marie on how your getting on. In a nice way it's lovely to hear I am not the only one going thro this alone. just feel like it's only me who has these awful pains that won't go away x
