Very interesting, surely it is obvious that all those women waited for too long before demanding they be removed. Though just wondering how long I wait for mine to settle!!! Have one put in in January, replaced when had my lap down 17days ago as gynae though it may well have slipped and thats why it was causing backache, now I'm getting pain again and my mood has plummeted. Got a follow up in May so may make the descision then.

Thanks for posting. This comes on the day of my 5th attempt to have my Mirena coil removed after 8 months of nightmare. Strings are too high and will have to go to hospital. This article just reinforces that Im not over reacting as Ive been made to feel.
