HRT might be needed to give your hormones a boost if the remaining ovary isn't coping too well. But on the down side - you know that will also not help the endo.

Speak to you GP about a blood test on the hormone levels and see if you need to be getting a top up. It isn't something that happened to me when i lost one ovary, but it does depend on how well the remaining ovary is functioning.

If you had GnRH drug treatment - it may be a residual side effect from taking that.

Thank you, interesting what you say about the GnRH treatment, I had it for 2 months and then stopped because it gave me symptoms I'd not had previously, at the Drs agreement. I will book in for a hormone test to see how the levels are.

Me too- three months ago. Very low libido at the moment. I'm hoping the remaining ovary will kick back in soon. My GP said it was a bit soon and not to worry. I had seven months of gnrh drug . This last week my hot flushes have gone mad. I've never been so hot in my life. I have no idea what's going on in my body!
