Help no endo found as

So had lap yesterday said no endo found looks healthy. I said all month I am in so much pain and could it be the one that's in muscles of womb (can't remember name) was very dismissive and said unless I remove ur womb I can't tell. So I am at home on pain and feeling kinda fobbed off x

I was in your position 3 years ago, first lap they said all looks normal. I had my second this July and they found endo. I'm no doctor or expert so it could obviously be that you don't have endo but if you fit all the symptoms I would recommend you seeing an endo specialist. Did they take any biopsies? You could take the drugs to stop you ovulating and if all eases up then you defo know it's your reproductive system. I was devastated when they told me all was clear on the first one. Please seek help with an expert as they may not of looked on the right places etc cx

Hiya, I have had 2 laps to search for endo. None found on either. You can imagine my disappointment. The hardest thing is not knowing what's going on, things are less annoying, less frightening when they have a name. My surgeon told me that they suspect adenomyosis purely down to my symptoms alone. My uterus looks healthy and normal also I'm told. As KatieTattie said it may be worth getting a second opinion. Also, I don't know what's going on for you, but adeno can be found in a normal uterus it seems.... Check out the answer from Maidyn. hystersisters.com/vb2/showt...

In all honesty I still find it hard not having a solid answer, but at least get a second opinion, find a surgeon/consultant who specialises in endo and have a chat with them.x

I know that my surgeron performed a hysteroscopy and d&c at the same time as my Lap (where they go inside the uterus with a scope). I dont' know if you can rule out/in adenomyosis through this procedure but they can take biopsies and get a good idea of what the lining looks like etc.

It might be worth researching adenomyosis to see if it matches your symptoms, and the procedure for being diagnosed.
