I have was diagnosed 3 years ago and am due to have my 2nd laparoscopy in october.
I am really struggling with the pain and am finding work difficult. I know a lot of people don't work because of their endo. I just wondered how you support yourself financially?
Hi Hun I have been wondering this to! I have read a few blogs online from people who have managed to get disability but it has been the most extreme cases and it has been a huge battle to get it, I'm currently self employed, but I'm starting to struggle to put in the hours I need to as I'm in constant pain and constantly tired so just can't concentrate on my work x
Im still waiting to be officially diagnosed, lap due in October. I had cyst removed at 26 and im now 29. Its been years of hell. I chose the worst career to have, im a welder (not a butch type that people seem to conjure up) im 5ft2 . This is starting to become a real problem & struggle with the pain, constant water infections & most of all my lower back through the whole of the month. Which kills me even more when lifting metal jigs about or just trying to do my job. Working with all men, they dont quite understand whats wrong with but my boss is ok. Physical I dont know how much longer I can carry on doing this job & dont know what else to do.
