Hi.in 2003 I had a lap and they found endo so they lasered it .three weeks ago I had a lap and surgery again this time I had excirsion (cutting) and to be honest with you I've just found the recovery just the same as the first time soreness for a while and lots of bruising.my wounds are still obviously healed fully but as I say three weeks on now for me and I'm almost back to normal and going back to work on Saturday :)hope this helps!p.s my endo was moderate/severe and I had my ovaries suspended x

Hi, I have severe endo and have had both the laser and more recently cut away lap.

Obviously you will be in alot of pain, however the recovery is much easier. After laser I was in hospital on morephine for 5 days nd off work for a month. With the newest op where they cut away I was out the same day (bed rest of course) but I was out and about again in a couple of weeks.

It's really the best lap option for you as it will minimise scar tissue which can hurt over time.

Good luck !

Thanks girls, I have every bit of faith in my surgeon as he is highly recommended , I was in agony last time but a week after the actual lap x
