Hi had lap yesterday surgeon said he managed to cut most of the endo away and has put a liquid in to stop it coming back anyone heard of it?

I would assume the liquid your doctor has referred to is anti-adhesion liquid. It will be detailed in the discharge summary sent to your GP so you can double check with them if you want to know exactly what they used. It's quite common to have 500ml-1 litre put in at the end of the lap in an attempt to prevent adhesions sticking together again etc, it may help adhesions but it won't prevent endo. Only problem is that it is very trial and error and its not proven to have consistent effect and for a lot of people it won't really make much difference, particularly if you are someone who is more susceptible to developing adhesions (like me!). I had a lap in August where my ovaries where unstuck and put back into position and the surgeon put anti-adhesion fluid in. I then had another lap 8 weeks later and my left ovary had already re-stuck despite having anti-adhesion fluid. So for me it didn't make any difference but hopefully it will for you. X
