Endo could be in the nose or sinus area. it can actually grown anywhere in the body. There are only two recorded cases of endo in the brain..that is exceptionally rare, so most unlikely to be the case, but headaches can be the result of stress and hormonal imbalance too. The only way to be sure of where the endo is, is for the surgeon to take a look inside you. Normally this involves a key hole op to look in the tummy region on all the surfaces to watch for any tell tale endo lesions, but if you do have bleeds from the nose which are coinciding with your periods so are matching your cycle, the you would need that looking at by and ENT surgeon.

It could simply be that your body is not very good at clotting blood. Many of us with endo have difficulties clotting, which results in very heavy periods that go on and on and on. Same thing is happening inside with the endo lesions which can't stop bleeding. Luckily there are prescription drugs which you can take for 3-4 days a month to add a bit of clottability to your blood. Too much is dangerous too, but sometimes you need an extra boost to help stem the flow. Tranexamic Acid are the ones I took but there are others brands too.

You have let your gp know about these symptoms?

If I were having anything like this, I'd do my best to keep calm & carry on while I kept a brief log describing these symptoms, for at least 1 month: what the symptoms are, when they happen, how long they last, etc... and i'd rate their intensity from 1 to 10 (10 being the most acute). Then I'd give the log to my gp

I'm no expert, but seems to me it's wise to encourage a dr to take a view on these sort of symptoms. Sometimes drs can be distracted by the pursit of one possible diagnosis (say endo), while there may be something else going on that would respond to systemic treatment. This has turned out true in my case, and treatment is making all the diff

Take care

As others have previously said, endo can travel anywhere in the body. I have it in a lot of places including my left lung. My sister was diagnosed with it in her brain last year, after suffering from terrible headaches, nausea and daily nose bleeds. They are currently trialling with a new drug (she lives in the USA) and so far it seems to be helping her day-to-day living - unfortunately there is no cure yet.
