Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone has had any success with progesterone cream? I've read that it can be helpful on a few websites.

I've not tried it but would also be very interested to know! Please share any experiences ladies! X
I was going to try before I fell pregnant. I read about the need for a high strength cream, and NOT Wild Yam - something to do with the ability of the ingrediants to cross into the blood. That prob means buying the real deal online. It is expensive but you only need to use a teaspoon worth a day. Worth a go?

Hi - yes I use progesterone cream ('Wellsprings'). I recommend a book by Dr Michael Lam 'Estrogen Dominance". He also has a very good website that answers many questions about progesterone cream, as does the Wellsprings website. I take it because I am in the peri-menopause stage but also because I am a great believer in estrogen dominance being a contributory factor to many conditions that are prevalent, including endo.
I actually underwent total radical excision surgery about 3 years ago with one of the top UK pioneering endo consultants and so I am very thankful to be able to say have not had any endo symptoms since - but that does not mean estrogen dominance is not a consideration.
IAs a post operative measure, I also cut out xenoestrogens as far as possible and switched all brands of toiletries, cosmetics, household cleaning stuff, laundry liquid and feminine care to exclude chemicals that mimic estrogen in the body, and other nasties.
Another good book is "Stop Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain" by Dr Andrew S Cook.
